About us
At miHydro, our journey started with a deep-rooted love for growing. My partner’s passion for plants was inspired by his grandfather, a dedicated landscaper who instilled in him the joy of cultivating life from the soil. Despite pursuing a career in software development, his love for growing never faded.
When we started our first business together, we envisioned hydroponics as an exciting add-on. However, we quickly realized how challenging it was to find locally available systems that suited small spaces—something essential for urban dwellers like us. So, we took matters into our own hands and started designing our own hydroponic systems.
What began as a side project quickly became an obsession. We experimented with Kratky, NFT, and DWC systems, growing basil and cherry tomatoes on our balcony and cultivating fresh lettuces and herbs right in our kitchen. The flavor, the freshness—it was unlike anything store-bought. Our homemade basil pesto and crisp salads were game-changers.
That’s when we knew: this was more than a hobby—it was our calling. We decided to fully commit to hydroponics, leaving behind other business ventures to focus on empowering people just like us—those in apartments, townhouses, or small spaces—to grow their own food.
At miHydro, we don’t just sell hydroponic systems; we share knowledge, simplify the process, and make home-growing accessible. We believe in healthier eating, sustainable living, and teaching future generations the importance of growing their own food.
We’ve shared our story—now we’d love to share more with you! If you’re passionate about home-growing, fresh food, and hydroponics, sign up for our monthly newsletter for tips, insights, and exclusive updates.
